DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer you enjoy troubleshooting and finding solutions to technology problems.


  • Researching and identifying solutions to software and hardware problems

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues on our G8 systems and peripheral support tools and applications

  • Communicating with our customers to help resolve issues and understand their particular use cases

  • Collaborating with other teams in GIG, for example, collaborating on software issues with the software developers

  • Help build our knowledge base by documenting “how to” and “wiki” pages that are used internally by our teams and externally by our customers

  • Completing tasks and projects that help to improve and automate operational processes


  • 4+ years work experience as a DevOps or Systems Engineer / System Admin

  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Unix environments

  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python / Go

  • Experience in running and setting up DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)

  • Good level knowledge of computer systems, cloud computing and networking

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

  • Good problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

  • Additional certifications in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies are a plus
