Yes, that is right. ONE DAY. Firmware comes in different sizes and defines the total capacity of your Edge Cloud in terms of virtualized compute, storage and disk speed options.
Then it takes 5 steps to launch your applications on our Edge Cloud-as-a-Service. This can be on-premise, within your corporate network, or as a public Edge Cloud.
Both public and private Edge Clouds interact seamlessly, so no need for tedious integration between public and private Edge Clouds.
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
First we help you set up an an Edge Cloud account. This defines your overall Edge Cloud Capacity.
or the limits of your Edge Cloud-as-a-Service. You are not charged for your total capacity.
You are charged for usage of compute, storage and disk speed.
USER ACCESS TO USER PORTAL
You are now ready to onboard users on your Edge Cloud and define their access rights through our user portal.
We also offer a separate OAUTH2 identity management system that manages access to your Edge Cloud through itsyou.online identity management. This offers 2-factor authentication.
It’s a more secure way to manage access domains and it reduces manual actions that may cause security breaches.
CREATE YOUR SPECIFIC CLOUDSPACE
Now you are ready to set-up your CloudSpace(s)
You can set-up an unlimited number of CloudSpaces within the limits of the total capacity under Step 1.
You are now ready to decide:
OS and OS Version
Compute: Memory and Cores
Storage: Disk Size and Disk Speed
Network Connectivity and Firewall per CloudSpace
Each CloudSpace within your Edge Cloud, comes with its own virtual firewall and network options. You can connect each individual CloudSpace via the internet, via a Secure VPN or through a dedicated connection for a Virtual Private Cloud. You can also decide to bring your own firewall if you prefer.
Now you are ready to use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and deploy applications in an automated way, at any location.
We change the way IT and DevOps teams deploy infrastructure and applications through the use of industry standard automation tools.
This avoids manual interactions and creates reusable deployment code. With just a few clicks, applications can now be launched on any Edge Cloud, at any location. This improves your workforce efficiency and creates an agile DevOps environment.
Onboarding of applications is made easy and can be done VM-based for traditional applications using APIs with Ansible and Terraform plugins.
For cloud native applications, automation can be done by creating Kubernetes clusters on top of several Edge Cloud locations.

You are now ready to launch applications on your Edge Cloud. When you have multiple Edge Cloud locations you can decide where to launch and run these application. Use of Ansible, Terraform or Kubernetes provide you with the tools to automate this step.
