Cloud Locations

GIG automatically deploys, manages and maintains full cloud services in the cloud location you select. We refer to each of these locations as G8 (because it Gener8s local cloud capacity). We do the heavy-lifting, you just select the location and provide the rack, power and networking.

Central Location Management

The GIG Meneja service allows owners of G8's to add new G8's in new locations, monitor health, manage network connectivity, manage access rights and determine which images get provided where and are usable by whom. One simple control panel to manage all locations you own.

High Performance Cloud

Agile By Design

The GIG Cloud can be easily integrated in your agile development process and your CI/CD pipeline. We provide open API's, a maintained Terraform plug-in, a maintained Apache LibCloud plug-in, a CSI plug in for Kubernetes and a bunch of playbooks to deploy multi-site Kubernetes clusters.

Easy Migration, Backup & Disaster Recovery

We provide extensive tools to support migration from any virtualisation platfom or any cloud solutions towards GIG - and back. Our partnership with Rackware provides you with an option to do mass-migrations and deliver Disaster Recovery services.

Each G8 can deliver public cloud services. Our Cloud-as-a-Service is fully multi-tenant and has the tools to meter and rate services per account, per VDC and per VM. This means service providers can deliver detailed bills to their customers and deliver pay-as-you-use pricing.

We have predefined hardware configurations to make it easy to install, manage and maintain the infrastructure.  There are currently 6 different configurations. The *-C configs have twice the amount of physical CPU cores per Compute Unit and are hence more compute optimized.
